Cliff Parisi launching Festive Fun in Saffron Walden on Saturday 17 November
The Vintage Buses are Coming!
We are excited to announce that Saffron Walden will once again be welcoming the beautiful Vintage Buses from Lodge’s Coaches in the run up to Christmas. The Vintage Buses will be running between Audley End village and Saffron Walden town centre every Saturday from the 24th November until and including Saturday 22nd December, from 10am until 5.30pm.
Local star of TV and the big screen Cliff Parisi will be driving the iconic 1950 Bedford Duple OB (affectionately known as the ‘Toast Rack‘) from Audley End House into Saffron Walden town centre on the morning of Saturday 17th November. Cliff has starred in ‘Eastenders‘ (as Ricky ‘Minty’ Peterson), ‘Call the Midwife‘, ‘Kiss Me Kate’, ‘Casualty, ‘Drop The Dead Donkey’, and ‘Kavanagh QC’ . Cliff has also graced the big screen in some significant movies, most notably Johnny Depps’ ‘From Hell’ and Val Kilmer’s ‘The Saint’.
Cliff is excited to be involved and to see the buses in action around town – “Nostalgia on wheels; I can’t wait!”
If the weather is fair, the windows and roof section of the Vintage Bus will be removed. Please give Cliff a wave and he’ll give you a toot!
