Click It Local comes to Saffron Walden, Dunmow and Uttlesford
Saffron Walden is getting its own Amazon-style online market place, and it launches this week.
Over 20 of the town’s independents have already signed up to the Click It Local website – shoppers will simply be able to type in their postcode, browse products, pay for them and get them delivered to their home.
People will also be able to order multiple products from different shops and have only one delivery for all their items.
The scheme has been initiated by the town’s Business Improvement District (BID) and paid for by Uttlesford District Council.
Saffron Walden BID is urging local people to choose the ‘Click It Local’ website over the global online giants this Christmas to help our independents and traders boost their takings and bounce back after Covid.
